THE TREASURE COAST GETS A TASTE OF THE ENTERTAINMENT
COMING TO THE TRADITION TASTE OF LITTLE ITALY

(Monday, December 28, 2009) Port St. Lucie, FL – The Tradition Taste of Little Italy is proud to announce the line up for the 3rd Annual event. Beginning Friday, January 29th the stage will be filled will local and regional musical groups. Headlining this year will be Larry Chance & The Earls, Gianni Russo and returning The Legends of Doo Wop.
Join the producers and local dignitaries Friday at 6:15pm for the opening ceremony for the three-day festival.
Following the ceremony will be the sensational, John Ciotta at 6:30pm. John is known world-wide as a diverse singer, songwriter and entertainer. Then be sure to get a seat for the Larry Chance & The Earls at 8pm with their flawless street corner harmonies this is a must see show. Performing all their hits Life Is But a Dream, Never, I Believe, and of course the classic Remember Then.
Saturday’s entertainment will showcase George Galfo’s Mystics at 5:15pm. After many years with being the back- up voices on many well-known hits, the Mystics landed on TV’s American Band Stand and soon after came their hits Hushabye, Don’t Take the Stars, All Through the Night. The night ends with the tough guy, Gianni Russo. Carl Rizzi from The Godfather is the movie role of his career. Gianni Russo will be on stage at 8pm. Gianni is a crooner and his romantic vocals will make you fall in love all over again.
Sunday will feature the local Italian singer, Franco Corso at 4:15pm. Franco Corso is portrays the style of Andrea Bocelli with all of the Italian ballads. The Taste of Little Italy comes to an end with the famous Doo-Wop group who returns to Tradition Square, the Legends of Doo Wop featuring Tommy Mara. The Legends of Doo Wop together has over 160 years singing the best of Doo Wop. Come hear their hits Gloria, Oh Rosemarie, and Guardian Angel.
Don’t miss your chance to be on stage when Johnny V’s presents the first annual “Lasagna contest” on Saturday at 1”45pm. And the famous “Pizza Eating Contest” Sunday at 1:15pm.

Admissions $5.00 and children 12 and under are free.
